Nine employees from the Holiday Inn Select pitched in Tuesday on the trails at Goodrich Wood.
The group spent Earth Day mulching the trail system at Goodrich Woods, spreading 12 truckloads of mulch.
Credit union offers seminar, shredding
Hawthorne Credit Union is hosting a free combination "Women and Investing" seminar and "Shred It Day" event from 10 a.m. to noon May 3 at its Naperville branch office at 1519 N. Naper Blvd.
Along with the investing seminar, Hawthorne is continuing its "Shred It Day" series by welcoming attendees to bring in two boxes of unwanted personal documents.

Central DuPage Hospital announced April 8 that it has been named a 2008 Distinguished Hospital for Patient Safety, as part of an independent study by HealthGrades, the nation's leading health care ratings company.
This distinction reflects Central DuPage Hospital's performance among the top 5 percent nationally for patient safety outcomes, according to HealthGrades fifth annual Patient Safety in American Hospitals Study. Central DuPage Hospital is one of only three Illinois hospitals to receive this distinction for three consecutive years.
